Nobody did it better.
It seems that with every passing year we lose another icon. This year was no different, losing the legendary Roger Moore. Epitomized by his portrayal of another iconic cinema hero, James Bond, Moore brought his own unique charisma and caddish take to 007 during his acting career, spanning seven decades.
Moore often joked that he was the least favourite Bond incarnation, ‘according to the internet. Generally hated!’ Although the crown for best Bond ever will always be Sean Connery, Moore took on the role and made it his own in sublimely suave fashion.
“Hmm, maybe I misjudged Stromberg. Any man who drinks Dom Perignon ’52 can’t be all bad.”
