The Monk Strap Boots, '48 War of the Worlds designed to pay homage to the War of the Worlds radio first broadcast in October 1938. The script, dramatized from H.G. Well’s original story of a Martian invasion, utilized simulated radio news bulletins which seemed so convincing that many listeners really thought it was the end of the world. We put ourselves in the shoes of those listeners to design this pair. After all, if it was really the end of the world, wearing these boots would certainly put a stride in our step.

These Wholecut '48 Monk Strap Boots are expertly handcrafted with brown suede, camel calf leather and whisky patent leather.

Men's monk strap boots handmade in Portugal.
